Data Deletion

This page explains how to have your data deleted from AIM Engines, what we hold in the first place, and exactly what happens when you ask. Like our Privacy Policy, it's written in plain language on purpose.

What data AIM Engines holds

From this marketing site (www.aimengines.com):

• Contact-form submissions: your name, email address, and optionally your company name, role, and a message, plus whether you opted in to marketing communications.
• Server logs: hashed IP addresses (SHA-256 with a daily-rotated salt — we cannot reverse these to identify you), user-agent class, page URL, and time. Because these can't be linked back to you, there's nothing identifying to delete.

From the AIM Engines platform (app.aimengines.com), if you or your company use it:

• Your account and workspace data.
• If you connected a social or content platform account (for example Facebook or Instagram): the connection record and its access tokens (stored encrypted), drafts created on your behalf, engagement records processed by a workbench (posts, comments, replies), and audit events.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request." Send it from the email address you used with us, or tell us which workspace or connected account the request concerns. You don't need an account or login to make the request.

If you connected AIM Engines through a social platform, you can also remove it in that platform's app settings at any time (for example Facebook's "Apps and Websites" settings). That revokes our access immediately; then email us and we'll delete what we already stored.

What happens when you ask

1. We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
2. Contact-form data: we delete your submission from our leads store and remove you from any marketing communications.
3. Platform data: we revoke any platform connections, destroy the stored access tokens and secrets, delete your drafts and engagement records (or anonymize records that must be kept for audit integrity, so they no longer identify you), and delete your account data.
4. We complete the deletion within 30 days of your request and confirm to you by email when it's done.

What we may retain

• Records we're legally required to keep, kept only as long as the law requires.
• Anonymized audit entries that no longer identify you or your accounts.
